I love the use of poetry to capture the idea. Our "ground time" is brief and the unborn are like "parsnip seeds" in the cloud pack above. We need to make peace, with the world and with ourselves. Fingers crossed for Joe Biden who is fighting an uphill battle against the culture's idea of what a leader should look like.

I have been told there is no upper age for mammograms. I ask every year when I get mine, in case the recommendation has changed. They say no, breast cancer is actually more likely in older women...

There is significant debate about this -- not about the likelihood of breast cancer, but about the usefulness of mammograms after 74.

Aha! Once again reinforcing that one has to take, not advice to the general population, but advice from one's own doctor. This makes sense to me. I still have excellent general health and will probably live a long time if I don't have an accident, so it makes sense to keep screening me. This might not be true for another person with a different health profile, even if we are the same age.
